The Kid Has Mojo!

Levi has really started to enjoy telling jokes. He likes the big reaction he gets when everybody laughs at the punchline. I say “laughs at the punchline”, but since he’s making up the jokes himself they usually don’t really have a punchline, per se. We just laugh when he stops talking.

Anyhow, the really funny thing is never the joke itself, but how he prefaces it. I’m not sure where he got this, but each time he’s going to tell a joke, he starts like this:

Levi: “Want to hear a joke?”
Dad/Mom: “Sure Levi.”
Levi: “Okay, here it comes… turn it on…”

He says the “turn it on” bit with a growly little voice, like he’s Louis Armstrong or something. I’ve gotta say, his material still needs work, but the kid has mojo!

Thanks Isa! Yeah, the “Bridge Console” is part of my latest theme. I’m calling it Starship Clintonium. I think the “Captain’s Log” and “Open Com Channel” bits are my favorites.
